Healthy food for all 
 
Our aim is to provide the children with a healthy, balanced diet as well as foods from different cultures. We encourage the children to be independent and get involved in meal time as often as possible by taking the children to local shops to buy fresh fruit and vegetables as well as grow our own.  
 
We will work together with parents/carers for the children who are weaning and will discuss this with parents/carers on an individual basis.

MONDAY  
Roast beef, vegetables, roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding 
Roast chicken, vegetables, roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding 
TUESDAY 
Lasagne or spaghetti bolognese 
Fish fingers, sweet potatoes and baked beans 
WEDNESDAY 
Jacket potatoes with a fillings served with peas and sweetcorn 
Shepherds pie and vegetables 
THURSDAY 
Meatballs and pasta in a rich tomato sauce 
Smoked sausage and pasta 
FRIDAY 
Chunky vegetable soup and bread 
Hot dogs, tortilla chips and vegetable sticks 
Tea Time 
 
Selection of sandwiches and wraps including ham, cheese, tuna, jam, salami, chicken and more. 
 
Selection of nibbles including cocktail sausages, chicken goujons, chicken bites, scotch eggs, cheese, breadsticks, crackers and more. 
 
Selection of fruit and vegetables including grapes, peppers, cucumber, raisins, tomatoes, apples, oranges, bananas and more.
