The setting

Purpose built weatherproof buggy stores for those parents who wish to walk to the nursery.

Kimble’s Day Nursery started out as a group of registered childminders in 2012. Interest in the Setting increased quickly and since January 2014 we became a Nursery. We currently have 5 members of staff who work on a daily basis with the children. 
 
Qualifications and staff 
- Danielle has been working in childcare for 11 years and during this time has been involved in a range of different childcare environments, such as Nanny, Pre-school one-to-one and Nursery Practitioner. Danielle has her own children and is currently our second Designated Child Protection Person and Deputy Manager. Danielle has also recently completed her level 4 qualification. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
- Julie has over 10 years experience in Early Years and has her own 2 children. Julie has training with PECS and Supporting children with Speech and language difficulties. She has recently been on Every Child a Talker (ECaT) Training to support this and is the settings ELLP. 
All of our team have received extra training to continue their development, such as Child Protection, Prevent Training, British Values, Special Educational Needs, Every Child a Talker, Equalities Coordinator, Forestry schools, Equalities, Sign Language, Understanding Schemas as a window to learning and they all hold a 12 hour Pediatric First Aid Certificate and have good understanding of Food Saftey, Health and Hygiene.

-Cheryl is our newest member of the team who has worked in childcare for 9 years. She is qualified as level 3 and has 2 teenage children of her own. Cheryl has recently been on Food Hygiene training and is keen to get to know our little community better. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
- Catherine is one of our newest memebers of the team. She has been working with us as relief staff for just under a year and is starting her level 3 in Early years with us, after being a qualified Teaching assistant for 4 years. 
Catherine has experience with Special Educational Needs and supporting children in a one to one basis.
